MacWood 48 Hour Film Fest – Can You Make a Film in 48 Hours?

Imagine this: You have just 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film. No sleep. No second chances. Just pure, unfiltered creativity fueled by coffee, adrenaline, and questionable life choices.

📅 Kickoff Meeting: June 6, 2025 – 6:00 PM (Google Meets)

🎥 Filmmaking Period: June 6 – June 8, 2025

⏳ Deadline: June 8, 2025 – 6:00 PM (No late submissions—no exceptions!)

🏆 Screening Night: June 14, 2025 (KPAC – Calvin Kruk Centre for the Arts)

📜 Film Requirements: 3 to 7 minutes, must include a randomly assigned genre, prop, action, and line of dialogue

Think you can handle it? Grab your camera, assemble your team, and prepare for 48 hours of madness, mayhem, and movie magic. The best films will be screened in front of a live audience, with awards for top entries!
